HR Business PartnerOver the years, many of our clients have puzzled over what makes a great HR "business partner". Sadly, no one seemed to know the answer. As people who are passionate about HR, we just couldn't accept that. So we went to some of the CEO's we know, those who believed their HR function really made a difference to their profitability. And we asked them if we could build a Success Profile of their HR people. We built a profile for the Business Partner role, interviewing some of the best HR people across several different companies and different industries. The results show that successful HR "business partners" think strategically. They know their clients like their clients know themselves, their market, their people, and their culture.
