HR WITH GUTS |
|
Welcome to the latest issue of HR with Guts, the newsletter dedicated to helping HR people deliver an HR function that adds recognisable value. After last month's newsletter, lots of you got in touch to say how interesting you found Dave Ulrich's work on the fifth Human Resource Competency Study (HRCS). So, this month we've decided to shuffle up our usual format. We're going to focus more on the study, and look at how we can put its findings into practice. And in particular, we're going to look at how we can become what the study calls a 'Credible Activist'. We hope the articles are helpful to you but, as usual, we’d love to hear your thoughts. Do you have any advice for developing these areas? Have you or any of your colleagues tried to become more of a Credible Activist – either successfully or unsuccessfully? Or is there anything you’d like us to focus on next time? We’re also keen to extend our network to as many HR people as we can. So please pass on HR with Guts to your team and colleagues – they can sign up to receive HR with Guts simply by clicking here. The more feedback we get and the bigger the network, the more we can help HR make a valuable contribution to businesses. |
